The programme is designed around teaching because it is the gateway to creating systemic change in communities and a unique foundation for leadership development. Fellows graduate to become problem solving entrepreneurs, analysts, policy developers, advocates and industry leaders with a lifelong commitment to bringing meaningful change to communities. We give access to high impact career opportunities after successful completion of the Fellowship.

How to become part of the movement

To apply to the Graduate Development Fellowship, you will need to have:
● Graduated with a 360 credit (NQF level 7) degree or advanced diploma from a recognised higher education institution
● South African citizen between the ages of 22 - 35
● Has a strong track record of demonstrated leadership, academic achievement, excellent problem-solving ,critical thinking skills, and a can-do attitude.

Application process

Stage 1: Online Screening and application.

Stage 2: A Video response interview to further assess your motivations for joining Teach the Nation.

Stage 3: All final stage applicants will attend an Assessment Centre (this may be virtual or in person depending on what Covid-19 allows) where you will meet our team and have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills.

If successful at Assessment Centre, you will be made an offer to the Teach the Nation Leadership Development Fellowship.
